I just recently got back into the full swing of my art (although one can never fully get out, never try to kid yourself saying you are done when the house and car are covered in doodles and ideas that just haven't been done yet) so I am doing what I love. And not for anyone in particular, just the enjoyment of it. If I feel like I don't like what I have created, then I don't feel like it should be shown. And if someone doesn't like it after it passed my liking, then that is their opinion and we simply move on. If you like what you see, then enjoy. If not, have a great day and hopefully you find something that you do. :)
