So it has long come to my attention that I need a beast for a computer. I do not have to RAM or processing power on any of the current computers that I do have. I cannot do any animations past 15 seconds without it taking days to render. In a low quality video even. Rigging has become a hassle as well; it freezes with any alteration or movement. My only concern is that PCs get easily bogged down, especially if one is running scripts. I don't want to have to overhaul my computer every couple of months to keep my speed up. I know it sounds a little lazy, but I don't have the time between school, work, and commissions. But the one thing I don't like about MAC is the different interface. It may be easy to learn, but right now it is downright daunting. Especially with all the programs I use. The hot keys will be different and so will certain interfaces.
Summer semester is coming to a close and we have a three week break between semesters so I will hopefully be working on a couple of still model renders and some traditional art. And I will be going on vacation from the 11th to the 16th to Savannah, GA and Myrtle Beach, SC with some stops between!
If you have any suggestions about renders, traditional art, or other ideas just message me. Commission requests open. Or if you just want to be buddies I am always open to talk! (Please no spam)
So the question is;
Please, respond and tell me any opinions on PC vs MAC.
Do I shell out the extra cash and time to learn a MAC, or do I save some money and holler in frustration every few months when I have to do a system overhaul to keep it running smoothly?
Breaking into New Art
The Daily Grind
So, as I have stated previously, I work Monday through Friday. That means my schedule is super full, as are most peoples'. I am trying to dedicate more time to my art and to some of the new programs I have recently acquired. This is so I can use them correctly and for what I envision.
The programs that I use regularly are listed below.(Including new ones that have literally been eating my time, in a good way.)
GIMP
Aseprite
Game Character Hub (See the icon in the upper right, that is from the program character generator)
RPG Maker VX Ace
Corel Essentials 5 (I got this as part of a Humble Bundle, I still prefer GIMP tho
Graphics
I have been playing around doing graphics for my Twitch page (my activity there in intermittent at best, but I want my page to look nice).
I am open to do color packs for both the items, just note me and they will be posted.
I am also open to do commissions, note me for more information!
Commissions will be cut @ 5 people, once those 5 have been done they will reopen.
I do work a full time job, so they may take up to a week to be received.
Single resources will be free for download.
Programs I use are:
Aseprite
Corel Paint Essentials 5
Open Canvas
Gimp2
Blender
Hardware:
Blackweb Grim Gaming Mouse
Huion
Tutorial Frenzy
For the next two weeks, I will try to complete one tutorial a day or submit my own render.
The goal is for this to be a learning experience to learn programs such as Blender and Gimp.
So far I have submitted one. So this is day two and I am working on another to give you guys already! Yay!
Any ideas of what I should do? Send me a PM! All suggestions are welcome!

Broadening Horizons
As time goes by, visions change.
The more art I am putting up, it seems to be more varied and more few and far between. I will be putting some more stuff up here soon. I am just swamped between college, work, and volunteering organizations at school.
What I will submit will be a mix of traditional media (paintings or sketches) and 3d modeling and architecture.
If you have any ideas or discuss comissions(?) send me a note and I will reply as soon as possible.
[I accept paypal, other payments may be discussed]
Best of Wishes
Bethany
